Paywhere assembled a team of specialists to bring the brand to life. Ryan DeGama of Midtown Mystery developed the brand story and messaging framework, defining how Paywhere communicates its vision and shaping the category of programmable banking. Building on that strategic foundation, Heyya created a visual identity designed to reflect both the company and the category it was defining. To capture concepts that had never been seen before, we worked with illustrator Ian Macfarlane to develop a custom illustration style that gave abstract ideas a visual language.
The "P" monogram uses three defined sections in tones of blue to represent movement, connection, and the exchange of information across financial ecosystems. A flexible and vibrant colour palette supports the illustration style. Together with a precise geometric wordmark and highly readable typography, these elements create a brand that feels modern and professional, yet approachable, designed to reflect the credibility of the team behind it. Supporting marketing collateral, one-pagers, and a whitepaper template ensure the team can communicate consistently across sales, marketing, and investor relations.
