The Challenge

CLS Landscape faced a few challenges. They were operating two distinct service lines—retail supply and construction—under one brand, each with different audience needs. While they had launched an e-commerce site, run Google ads, and built a social media presence, their efforts felt disconnected and lacked a clear strategy.

The biggest concern was how to launch their construction division without alienating their core customer base: landscape contractors.

We saw an opportunity to build on familiar brand elements while elevating their identity and deepening customer loyalty—ensuring their core audience felt supported, while creating a strong foundation to market the construction division and guide future growth.

The Process

Define, Build and Amplify

Our research process set the direction, building the strategy including audience and employee personas to support both external and internal communications. A brand exercise defined foundational language, clarified the brand architecture, and established value propositions for each service line, laying the groundwork for a brand identity package.

A marketing plan mapped the customer journey for each audience segment, helping us build meaningful touch points throughout the cycle. We launched dedicated websites for each service line, to address the unique needs of their audiences through strategic, omni-channel campaigns.

After building the marketing function, we continue to maintain with weekly meetings, monthly campaign reporting, and support of key platforms including HubSpot, Lightspeed, and WordPress—ensuring visibility and ongoing optimization for growth.
